Georges-Kevin N’Koudou scored a stunning volley for Besiktas on Saturday evening as the Turkish giants earned a huge 5-1 win over Denizlispor – Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to his strike.

The 25-year-old left Tottenham on a permanent basis last summer after loan spells at Monaco and Burnley, joining Besiktas for a fee in the region of £4.5million (Goal). He has since played 27 times for Besiktas.

Following the resumption of football, N’Koudou netted his fourth goal for the SuperLig outfit – lashing home a left-footed effort into the top corner of Denizlispor’s net after excellent build-up play.

The six-time France Under-21 international is certainly showing glimpses of the quality that saw Tottenham spend nine figures on his signature – after 10 goals in 41 games for Marseille, despite his young age.

A lack of game time and disappointing loan spells saw his Spurs stay come to an end, with the likes of Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and others in his way. Even the signing of Jack Clarke could have seen him leave.

Tottenham fans responded on Twitter to a video of N’Koudou’s stunning goal and many supporters discussed his time at north London – with some even suggesting that he should return.
