Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho are reportedly ‘tempted’ to bring Manchester United defender Diego Dalot to north London this summer with United willing to sell – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.

Dalot, 21, has played just 10 times in all competitions this season after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spent more than £50million to lure Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United from Crystal Palace just under a year ago.

Signed by Jose Mourinho from the Portuguese manager’s former side, FC Porto, Dalot has shown in glimpses that he is capable of producing magic on the right side of the defence. But in order to do that, he may need to move with Wan-Bissaka first choice.

The Sun have claimed Manchester United are willing to cash in on the Portugal Under-21 international, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to offload some of his players in order to bump up what could be a signifcantly affected transfer budget.

The report also claims that Mourinho could be ‘tempted’ to form a reunion with the defender, given Spurs are likely to be after a new right-back in the coming months. Serge Aurier is being linked with AC Milan, while Kyle Walker-Peters is on line.

Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club could raid Manchester United for Dalot, with the report claiming United want as much as £35million.
