Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking at a central defender and Borussia Dortmund star Dan-Axel Zagadou is a man on the club’s shortlist ahead of the January transfer window – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Zagadou, 21, has failed to play a single match for Dortmund this season. Having recovered from a long-term knee problem, Zagadou then suffered another injury while on international duty in September with France’s Under-21 side.
He has failed to add to the 60 appearances he has made for Dortmund’s senior side, since joining the club from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017. When fit and playing at his best, left-footed Zagadou is first choice for Dortmund.

Football website 90Min claim he is one of three central defenders Tottenham are considering, with Spurs ready to set aside £15million to bring in a defender in January. Kim Min-jae and Gian Marco Ferrari are also names on their shortlist.
Spurs do boast plenty of options at centre-back – with Joe Rodon making his Premier League debut during a 0-0 against Chelsea. Eric Dier has been excellent, Toby Alderweireld too – though injured. Davinson Sanchez has fallen down the pecking order.
Japhet Tanganga is also an option but has only just returned from injury. Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that Zagadou could be considered by Spurs ahead of the upcoming winter window, and some are certainly all for the idea.
