Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of five clubs interested in signing Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir in the summer, just days after Hugo Lloris endured a difficult evening against Manchester City – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Lloris, 34, has conceded eight goals in his last two appearances – letting five fly past him in the FA Cup defeat to Everton and then three more at Manchester City. He probably should have saved Rodri’s penalty, and the first of Ilkay Gundogan’s brace.
Lloris has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain where Mauricio Pochettino is impressing as manager – including a 4-1 win over Barcelona on Tuesday night. So, Spurs might need a new goalkeeper come the summer.

Turkish newspaper Fanatik have claimed that Tottenham are interested in raiding Mesut Ozil’s new side for the uncapped Turk, who has now clocked up 60 appearances for Fener since his move in the summer of 2019 from Ankaragucu.
However, Spurs are not alone in their pursuit. Ajax want to replace Andre Onana, while French side Lille are also keen. Schalke will consider a move if they avoid relegation, as will Werder Bremen. But of those sides, Spurs is likely to prove most attractive.
Tottenham supporters have responded on Twitter to the news that they could target Bayindir in the coming months.
