Harry Kane has claimed that Tottenham teammates Gareth Bale and Joe Hart are two players that are keeping everybody in the squad focused right now, citing their elite level experience as a key factor.
Bale, 31, secured a dream return to North London in the summer after rejoining Spurs on a season-long loan from Real Madrid and the left-footed attacker is beginning to find his feet after being eased back from injury.
The Welshman recently scored his first goal this season in the Premier League and he’s such a big figure in the dressing room due to the fact he’s a four-time Champions League winner.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Joe Hart was signed on a free transfer and has arrived as the second-choice goalkeeper, with the Englishman adding the experience of two Premier League titles under his belt.
Spurs centre-forward Kane has mentioned the two signings as individuals that are adding to the squad off the pitch.
“I think having people like Gareth and even like Harty in the squad, players that have won the biggest trophies and been around winning teams, they’re the people you need. Not just what they do on the pitch, but what they do outside the pitch in the changing room and keeping everyone focused. They are definitely a bonus to have,” Kane told Sky Sports.

TBR’s View:
Bale’s return to Spurs may have been viewed as sentimental at the time, but he’s adding an extra attacking option in the squad and the presence of someone who’s performed in Champions League finals should lift the rest.
Meanwhile, Hart has shown in his appearances so far that he’s a massive vocal figure and it’s no surprise to hear the former England international keep standards high in the dressing room.
Ultimately manager Jose Mourinho is going to be judged on if he can win trophies at Spurs and he’s gone about it the right way by trying to add some experience to a group that lacks that winning mentality in the vital moments.
