It now seems as if both Tottenham Hotspur and Ange Postecoglou are determined to add a third signing this month.
Deals for Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin were concluded very promptly, with both already enjoying their debut before the winter break.

And when considering any further business Tottenham and Postecoglou may pursue this month, it seems they are looking towards the future.
Royal Antwerp’s Arthur Vermeeren has been linked with the side in recent days.
Although, Spurs may need to act fast with a deal given Atletico Madrid are now in contact with the Belgian club.
That being said, Tottenham are also said to admire another 18-year-old talent playing his football in Belgium.
Winger Antonio Nusa looks to be one of Europe’s next top talents, and Spurs are now determined to land his signature this month.
The club have been linked with a move over the past week, and it seems efforts will now step up.
According to The Standard, Tottenham remain locked in talks for Nusa as of today, with a view of concluding a deal in the coming days.
Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou really want to sign Antonio Nusa this month
The report does state that Spurs will likely agree to loan the £26m youngster back to Brugge for the remainder of the season.
And it may then be the case that Nusa takes Werner’s place in the squad, if Spurs don’t exercise their option to buy in the summer.

Similarly, Werner may stay and Richarlison could leave – he’s been subject of interest in the past.
It’ll be fascinating to watch which direction Tottenham’s project heads in this summer, when Postecoglou has more time than he has this month to plan the club’s trajectory.
Perhaps a bid for Emerson Royal would be accepted in the summer, even if the defender is happy to stay right now.
There’s certainly a lot of possibilities for Spurs.
But a swift signing of Nusa would seem very well advised given the youngster’s remarkable talent at beating a player one versus one.
