Tottenham Hotspur defender Ryan Sessegnon has revealed Jose Mourinho has told him to become more vocal.
The £25 million summer signing from Fulham (BBC Sport) was speaking about the manager’s recent comparison of him to legendary full-back Ashley Cole.
The 19-year-old has hardly featured for Spurs so far this season having arrived at the club injured.

Under former manager Mauricio Pochettino he featured for just one minute against Everton, with a hamstring injury preventing him from making any more of an impact.
The England U21 star is excited by the appointment of Mourinho, who has already handed him some advice going forwards.
He said: “He’s always talking to me, giving me pointers and tips where I can improve. He’s a manager who obviously wants to win things which is one of the reasons why I’m here.

“Really he just sat me down, told me to be myself, told me to be a bit more vocal because I am quite a quiet player and person in general.
“I think he wants me to show a bit more personality, show a bit more of me, show that I want to play, show that I will fight for my place in the team and a lot of strong words really.”
TBR’s view – Sessegnon’s time will come
With Sessegnon now back to full fitness, Spurs fans will hopefully be able to see their teenage star get a run of games.

With Ben Davies out injured there could be a chance for him to get some minutes, with Danny Rose’s form having not been particularly great.
There’s talk he will start against Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight, and a strong showing will do him the world of good.
