Dane Scarlett has labelled everything Harry Kane does perfect, but suggested to MOTDx that he believes that he could achieve even more than the Tottenham Hotspur talisman.
Scarlett is certainly the name to look out for at Spurs in the years to come. The striker became the club’s youngest ever player when he made his debut at 16.

He has since lost that record. But he continues to look destined for the first-team fold in North London. He has already featured 10 times for the first-team. And he is a regular fixture on the bench under Antonio Conte.
Of course, he faces a daunting task trying to break into the side. The player in front of him in the pecking order is the best striker in the Premier League, if not the world.

Kane has recently rediscovered his best form. So it is absolutely no surprise that Scarlett has spoken of his admiration of the England captain.
But interestingly, he went on to suggest that he has his sights set on achieving even more than the 28-year-old.
“Harry Kane is my idol. I’m very fortunate to see him every day in training, and watch him when he plays games,” he told MOTDx.
“Everything he does is just perfect and he’s a true professional. If I stick to it and keep working hard, there should be no reason why I can’t do what he’s done, if not more.”
Scarlett deserves credit for brave claim about Tottenham future
It is almost remarkable to hear Scarlett suggest that he believes he has the potential to surpass what Kane has managed during his career. It is not something that many youngsters would have the bravery to say.
Obviously, the teenager acknowledges that he has to do everything he possibly can to reach that level.
Tottenham are certainly in for a treat if Scarlett comes anywhere near reaching the level Kane has got to.
If he goes past it, the club have another icon on their books.
