Tottenham Hotspur star Yves Bissouma and Emmanuel Adebayor appear to have caught up last night, and the two exchanged messages on Instagram as well.
Adebayor spent his best years at Spurs’ fierce rivals Arsenal, but he donned Tottenham’s colours for four seasons between 2011 and 2015. A hero in his home continent, Adebayor is an inspiration to many African footballers, including Bissouma.

Tottenham star Bissouma responds to Adebayor’s Instagram message
Spurs signed Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion this summer for an initial fee of £25 million (BBC).
The Mali international has been one of the most impressive midfielders in the Premier League over the last few years. He has been linked with a move to a number of top clubs, but it’s Tottenham who managed to get the deal over the line in the summer transfer window.
Adebayor, who played 113 times for Tottenham and scored 42 goals, approves of his old club’s move to sign Bissouma, and he sent the midfielder a message on his Instagram Story to wish him well at Spurs.
Posting a picture of himself alongside Bissouma last night, Adebayor wrote: “Wishing you all the best in your career!”
The Tottenham new boy reposted that on his Instagram Story and wrote: “Thanks legend! King Ade.”

TBR View:
Bissouma really is a sensational signing for Tottenham.
The Mali international was arguably Brighton’s best player during his time there. He’s brilliant in possession, protects the backline really well, can progress the ball forward, and he’s not even in his prime yet.
Under a manager like Antonio Conte, he has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and Spurs will then become a more difficult side to beat than they already are.
Bissouma has only started one game for Tottenham so far, but we’re sure he’ll be a regular for them very soon.
