Jadon Sancho scored another goal for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday as he continued his excellent start to the 2019-20 campaign – and Tottenham Hotspur star Kyle Walker-Peters has delivered a one-word verdict on Instagram.
The 19-year-old sensation has now scored four goals already for Dortmund this season in just eight appearances. He has also laid on an impressive six assists, and even scored and created Dortmund’s other goal in the 2-0 SuperCup win over Bayern.
Not only has Sancho begun the season in stunning form for Dortmund, but he has also shone under Gareth Southgate. The teenager already has eight senior caps, and netted a brace in the 5-3 win over Kosovo in Southampton.
Sancho, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City, has now scored 18 goals and created another 29 in 63 league and cup appearances. He is regarded as one of the best young talents in world football, and he posted on Instagram after his latest goal.
Dortmund looked as though they were closing in on a narrow away win over Mainz, with Sancho’s goal the winner. However, Thomas Delaney scored an own goal in the 88th minute which saw the two sides play out a 2-2 draw.
Commenting on Sancho’s Instagram post, Tottenham star Walker-Peters described Sancho as “elite”. Sancho wanted to join Tottenham at 17 (ESPN), but Spurs opted against paying the release fee – and now he is shining in Germany.
