Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed he thought about leaving the club after a difficult first couple of years with the club.
The World Cup winner is about to finish off his seventh season in north London with one final game against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

£100,000-a-week star Lloris (Spotrac) has been a brilliant servant for Spurs and has largely been very consistent.
But in the beginning things were tough for the Frenchman, who has appeared to imply not liking the Andre Villas-Boas or Tim Sherwood regimes.
He told ESPN FC: “At that time, after two years at the club, I didn’t really like the way things had turned for me here. I put a lot of questions in my mind. Then I met [Pochettino].
“As soon as I met him, I knew straight away that he was the right man. He is the type of person that you want to work for, that you want to fight for.”

Thankfully for Spurs fans Lloris stayed put and produced his best form under Pochettino.
The 32-year-old has not been at his very best this term but on the whole he has been a top-class goalkeeper for the north London outfit.

He has done a solid job during his seven-year stint at the club and he has certainly proved excellent value at just £12 million.
Having been nearing an exit all those years ago, Lloris now has the chance to become a club icon if he can help Spurs topple Liverpool in Madrid on Saturday.
