Tottenham Hotspur players absolutely loved Djed Spence’s tackling in training ahead of today’s clash with Liverpool.
Spurs released a video of the squad training at Hotspur Way yesterday as they prepare for a meeting with Jurgen Klopp’s side today.
The likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur were spotted in the video, which will delight Spurs fans ahead of a massive game.
But it was summer signing Spence who was impressing his teammates in north London yesterday.
The £20 million man has been limited to substitute appearances since making the switch from Middlesbrough over the summer. But it seems that the 22-year-old is working hard to impress Antonio Conte.

Tottenham squad loved Spence’s tackling
The Spurs squad were involved in some light training yesterday ahead of the game against Liverpool today.
The players took part in a passing exercise, with the squad split into two teams. Spence can be spotted chasing down the ball while he was on the side aiming to dispossess the other.
The youngster pressured Harry Kane and tackled the Spurs star just before he attempted a pass.
And his teammates can be heard shouting: “Yes Djed!”
Just seconds later, he forced Pape Matar Sarr into a mistake as the youngster tried to play a short pass to Japhet Tanganga.
But Spence reacted quickly and won his side the game with his high work-rate. His teammates then celebrated, with Ivan Perisic and Matt Doherty raising their hands in the air.

It’s great to see Spence working hard in training after what has been a frustrating start to his Tottenham career.
The former Nottingham Forest man has been limited to just three substitute appearances in the Premier League but could get his chance to impress on Wednesday.
Spurs have got a massive game today against Klopp’s side and will travel to the City Ground for the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
Spence will be hoping to get some minutes under his belt against his old side and prove to Conte that he is ready to fight for a place in the starting line-up.
