Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente is supposedly a target for former club Athletic Bilbao this month.
The Spaniard’s move to north London from Swansea City in 2017 hasn’t really worked out, with Harry Kane playing the majority of games under Mauricio Pochettino.
Llorente has seemingly struggled to earn the trust of his manager, and it appears likely he’ll move on in January before his contract expires in the summer.

The Mirror are reporting that Bilbao want to bring Llorente home, where he is considered a hero after spending nine seasons there between 2004-2013.
Pochettino and Daniel Levy should attempt to use this interest of Bilbao’s to their advantage, and try to land one of Bilbao’s best players in the process.
Williams would be a good replacement
Tottenham should try and use Llorente to sign Inaki Williams.
The Spaniard is much younger than Llorente at 24, and has been growing his reputation in La Liga over the past couple of years.
Williams is known for his blistering speed, which makes him a very different prospect to Llorente.

He’s also very versatile, and can play anywhere across a frontline.
Williams was in action for Bilbao on Tuesday night and ripped Celta Vigo apart with his speed and dribbling. He provided a goal and an assist in a man of the match display. He now was five goals and three assists for the season so far.
He could potentially make for good back up for Kane and also provide competition in the wide areas.
