Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be busy this summer, as Jose Mourinho looks to build on an impressive finish to the season and guide Spurs close to the top four next year.
With the campaign now over, transfer rumours are firmly in full swing and it’s expected that the club will make a number of moves.

The last few days, in particular, have thrown up a number of names in terms of links to the clubs. Amongst them, are midfield duo, David Brooks and Eberechi Eze.
Both players are young, up and coming attacking midfield players. Of course, Brooks has the Premier League experience with him now, while Eze is a man in-demand for a number of top-flight clubs this summer. West Ham, Leeds, and Sheffield United have all been linked.
So, with Spurs clearly in the hunt for a player who can fill the void left by Christian Eriksen in January, will Jose Mourinho pursue Eze or make a play for Brooks? In our opinion, it has to be the QPR man.
Stats and injuries hindering Brooks’ development, Eze has it all
There is no doubting that David Brooks is a phenomenal young player. However, despite that talent, he’s struggled to really make the impression he’d have liked at Bournemouth.
Injuries have blighted his season this year. Indeed, he managed just nine appearances, in the end, netting just the solitary goal. It also remains to be seen whether he is quite over his injury in full.

Eze, on the other hand, has had opposite fortunes. The 22-year-old played all 46 Championship games for the R’s, rattling in an impressive 14 goals and laying on a further eight for teammates.
In fact, his durability is one of the things that makes him stand out. He played 42 times in the 2018/19 season too, missing games only to take his place on the bench.
Things can change quickly in football, of course. But, on this evidence, Eberechi Eze should be the man Spurs and Mourinho plump for.
