Tottenham are reportedly keen on South American attacker Rodrigo De Paul from Serie A club Udinese.
According to Tuttomeractoweb, Spurs are interested in a move for the 24-year-old at the end of the season in the summer transfer window.
It is understood that Inter Milan and Napoli are also eyeing him, while he’s changed his agent ahead of an exit from Italian club Udinese.
Spurs are clearly admirers of the Argentina international and they should ramp up interest by considering a January raid.
De Paul is an exciting talent in Serie A that deserves a big-money move and looks capable of making an impact in a top team.
The left-winger has already scored six goals and supplied three assists in 20 appearances for an average Udinese side.
He is a trickster with brilliant technical ability and is also lethal shooting from range.
Spurs’ current situation should dictate the club to try add some extra attackers in January if they can, as Heung-Min Son is away at the Asian Cup and centre-forward Harry Kane is sidelined until March with an injury.
De Paul is a versatile attacker that can slot into anywhere along the frontline and he would be an exciting addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
