Tottenham should sign the ‘new Jack Grealish’ who’d be an upgrade on Brennan Johnson in January

Tottenham Hotspur placed great emphasis on recruiting young talent in the summer.

Four of Spurs’ five signings were teenagers, so it’s evident Postecoglou has adjusted the recruitment strategy from the previous regime.

So, ahead of the Janaury transfer window, the club will likely be eyeing a number of young talents around the country and in Europe.

With that said, there’s one really promising winger who’s beginning to make a name for himself in the Premier League that they should consider signing.

Tottenham should sign Tyler Dibling

Since his £47m switch from Nottingham Forest last year, Brennan Johnson has struggled to live up to his lofty price tag.

In fact, Simon Jordan has recently labelled Johnson as a mid-table player, so evidently there’s room for improvement on the right flank.

So, Tottenham should seriously consider launching a proposal to sign Southampton’s rising star Tyler Dibling, who’s been dubbed the ‘new Jack Grealish’ per The Sun.

The 18-year-old winger is considered one of the brightest talents coming out of the prestigious Staplewood academy and that was certainly on show at the weekend.

Dibling made his full Premier League debut against Manchester United and was unplayable in the first half up against Diogo Dalot.

In fact, he even won a penalty after slipping past the Portugal international with ease, though, Cameron Archer failed to convert from the spot.

Dibling is a typical left-footed attacker.

The England youth international has supreme technical ability and is exceptional at gliding with the ball, reminiscent of Michael Olise, actually.

Here’s a clip of his hat trick against Newcastle under-23s in 2022, when he was just 16-years-old.
