Tottenham should reignite interest in Celtic defender Kieran Tierney

Tottenham should reignite interest in Celtic defender Kieran Tierney in the summer.

According to the Mirror in the summer of 2018, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was considering the 21-year-old as a potential target.

Spurs should be back circling around for the left-back in the summer, as their North London rivals Arsenal are reportedly keen.

According to the Scottish Sun, Arsenal are eyeing a £25million move for the Celtic full-back at the end of this season.

Could Centre-Forwards Become Extinct?

Tierney has been one of the outstanding players in Scottish football for the last couple of years and has proven himself capable on the European stage too.

He is a youngster with a wealth of senior experience under his belt already and he’s won eight major trophies so far.

With Tierney appearing on Arsenal’s radar for the summer, Spurs should resurface with their interest and tempt him to join them.

He is an all-action left-back that is excellent going forward and has six assists across all competitions so far this season.

The full-back also looks ready for a step up to the Premier League and he could be a great long-term solution for Spurs in that area.

Danny Rose and Ben Davies are the current left-back options available to Spurs, but Tierney would be an excellent young talent to challenge and perhaps overtake both.
