Back in 2015, Tottenham Hotspur held talks with teenage sensation Victor Osimhen over a move to England, The Daily Mail reported at the time.
Osimhen was playing in Nigeria for the Ultimate Strikers Academy but this move failed to materialise. Instead, Osimhen made the move to Germany two years later, joining Wolfsburg in 2017.
The twice-capped Nigeria international is yet to score for Wolfsburg but his form on loan in Belgium this season has been thoroughly impressive.
Wolfsburg sent the starlet to Sporting Charleroi – who play in the Belgian top flight – and he has been in prolific form.
With 13 goals in 27 games, the 20-year-old is showing exactly why Tottenham were so keen to sign him as a 16-year-old.

And this has alerted Italian heavyweights AC Milan, who have been linked with Osimhen in recent weeks, as per Own Goal Nigeria.
AC Milan want to sign Osimhen and loan him out to Lille – who play in Ligue 1 – for the season to continue his development in a top European league.
But AC Milan’s interest should prompt Tottenham to reconsider this deal. Osimhen might not be first-team ready yet but he has the potential to become a future star.
Spurs should send scouts to watch Osimhen in action for the remainder of the season as he continues to thrive in the Jupiler League.
