Tottenham have had a number of transfer dealings with West Ham over the years and should perhaps be eyeing another one in the shape of their attacker Marko Arnautovic.
Jermain Defoe, Michael Carrick and Scott Parker are all examples of players that have made the short move from the Hammers to Spurs.
West Ham’s current talisman Arnautovic has hinted at a possible exit from the London Stadium in the future by revealing he wants to be playing against the world’s elite.
“I’m 29 so that’s the best age. It’s clear that I want to compete with the best players,” Arnautovic told Austrian newspaper Kurier.
Spurs have become Champions League regulars in recent years and they should plot a move for West Ham’s 6ft 3in attacking enforcer.

Spurs have Harry Kane as their main centre-forward option, but there problem in finding suitable competition for him and a replacement is well documented.
Arnautovic is someone that has proven himself in the English top flight with Stoke and now West Ham, which is why a transition to Spurs could be a smooth one.
He’s turned himself into a powerful centre-forward with a physical presence and has already chalked up five Premier League goals this season.
The Austrian is exactly the type of signing that could help solve the Spurs jigsaw and give them enough ammunition in their squad to push for silverware.
