Tottenham Hotspur should consider a summer move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Ghanaian star is reported by Citi Newsroom to be on the shortlist of Manchester United, with Ander Herrera reportedly set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this summer (The Sun).
Partey has been a breath of fresh air for the Spanish club since bursting onto the scene in late 2015.

The 25-year-old has gone on to make 132 appearances in total for the first-team, and is now very much a regular alongside Saul in Diego Simeone’s midfield.
Partey is contracted until 2023 at the Wanda Metropolitano, but Marca claim he has a tantalising release clause of €50 million (£43 million).
TBR’s view
That figure should perk Tottenham’s interest, as Partey has developed into one of Europe’s better holding midfielder players over the past couple of years.
United are said to be eyeing him but Tottenham really need someone who can replace Mousa Dembele, who left the club in January.
Victor Wanyama could also leave the club this summer having been linked away earlier this year, so there is need for a player of Partey’s ilk.

The star is a tenacious ball-winner, but also very good at carrying the ball between the lines, just as Dembele was for Spurs.
WhoScored have rated Partey as man-of-the-match on five occasions this season, and the energetic star could be bargain for Spurs at £43 million.
