Tottenham boss Maurico Pochettino does reportedly have funds at his disposal in January and he should use it to prioritise a move for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson.
According to the Telegraph, Spurs have a transfer kitty of £50million to spend this month despite the fact they spent no money last summer.
The north London club should go all out for Bournemouth’s talisman if Pochettino does indeed have cash available.
According to the Mirror, Spurs are interested in Wilson this month alongside Chelsea and West Ham.
Spurs are without their star centre-forward Harry Kane until March due to an ankle problem and that’s why they need a new signing in attack desperately.
Wilson could cost £50million (Daily Star) to prize away from Bournemouth due to his form this campaign.
The England international is perfect for Spurs and they should use their funds to go all out for him.
He perfectly fits the mould of a Pochettino signing due to his pace, power and potential, something that would see him be a real boost to his team.
Wilson has been directly involved in 16 goals (10 goals and six assists) this season before the weekend’s fixtures and deserves a crack at an elite club.
The centre-forward would surely have the quality to replace Kane during his injury absence, while he could also provide a great alternative.
Spurs are better off bringing in a quality attacker with potential in January if they can and there is every chance Pochettino can take natural finisher Wilson to the next level.
