Tottenham Hotspur appear likely to lose Mousa Dembele in one of the next two transfer windows.
The Belgian maestro, who is currently sidelined for the rest of 2018 after sustaining an ankle injury against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The feeling is that Dembele won’t be putting pen to paper on a new deal with the club after months of talks, and that he will likely leave at the end of the season.
It could be that Dembele reaches a pre-contract agreement with another club, with Juventus having been linked in the recent past.
It’s looking like Spurs will need to think about replacing the former Fulham man, and they should send their scouts in the direct of the Stadio San Paolo in Naples.
Allan the ultimate Dembele replacement
Mauricio Pochettino will need another box-t0-box midfielder, and Napoli star Allan is one of the best around at the moment.
The 27-year-old was handed his first cap for Brazil over the international break against Uruguay, which has been long overdue.
Allan is fiercly industrious but has that typical Brazilian flair and technique.
He is a great passer of the ball and is quite quick across the ground, too.
The midfield dynamo is extremely tenacious and couple do a brilliant job in Tottenham’s engine room alongside the more cultured Harry Winks.
He’s been in excellent form this season and so Spurs would surely have some competition over him should they make a move.
