Tottenham should consider Sevilla centre-forward Wissam Ben Yedder

Tottenham need to go out in search of a new centre-forward in the summer transfer window, as they are losing Fernando Llorente when his contract expires at the end of this month.

Spurs have Harry Kane as their talisman in attack, but it’s doubtful he can play every game over the course of a long season and he needs an able understudy.

According to ABC de Sevilla, Ben Yedder has a £35.9million release clause and Manchester United are interested in triggering that.

Ben Yedder has proven himself in Spain and France as a prolific scorer, which is why he should try his hand in England.

The France international is a speed machine that could be a real hit in the Premier League and is clinical in the box.

He is currently in the peak years of his career after scoring a sensational 30 goals in 54 games across all competitions last season.

Spurs may need two quality centre-forwards to help them get over the line for silverware finally and should hijack Manchester United’s interest.
