Reports in Italy are suggesting that Wolverhampton Wanderers face a battle to keep Ruben Neves in January.
According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus are ready to make a move for Neves with Jorge Mendes set to play a key role in this deal.
But Neves would be the ideal signing for Tottenham Hotspur, who should battle Juventus for his signature in January.
Spurs are in the hunt for a long-term fix in central midfield.
Mousa Dembele’s future is far from certain, Victor Wanyama has had injury concerns and might be let go and Eric Dier’s form has been patchy.
With central midfield a priority area, Mauricio Pochettino must convince Daniel Levy to spend big on Neves.
The 21-year-old will not be cheap but he is one of the best young midfielders in Europe.
Neves operates in a deep-lying central midfield role and he has demonstrated his ability to do the defensive and attacking duties of his role.

According to Who Scored, in 15 Premier League games, Neves has made 35 tackles, 29 interceptions, 27 blocks and 15 clearances.
And once the Portugal international has recovered the ball, he is always looking to move it forward and get Wolves on the front foot.
Neves has already made 862 passes this season to demonstrate his playmaker ability in midfield.
This would be an ideal long-term signing for Tottenham and he would be worth the money if they can beat Juventus to his signature.
