Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly being eyed Italian giants Juventus.

According to Calciomercato, the 27-year-old is on the radar of the Serie A club and they have been scouting him for a long period.

It is understood that Juventus have spoken with Eriksen’s representatives and are plotting a potential summer move for him, but Real Madrid are also keen in landing the Denmark international.

The playmaker’s situation at Spurs is complicated due to the fact that his contract is due to expire in 2020 and he’s yet to sign a new deal.

If the North London club are unable to secure his long-term future, then they should consider cashing in for him in the summer and perhaps asking for a Juventus player in return.

Spurs should value Eriksen as a top range player given his quality, which is why Juventus ace Rodrigo Bentancur as makeweight alongside cash should be an attractive deal.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side should enquire about the possibility of bringing in Bentancur, who is a South American midfielder with huge potential.

The 21-year-old is a central midfielder that could help cover the potential loss of Eriksen and be a real success in the Premier League.

He is a Uruguay international that massively impressed in the World Cup last year, as someone that can be a goal threat from midfield and is mainly a technician that is a great passer of the ball.

Bentancur has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season for Juventus and could be a top addition for Spurs if they consider him.
