Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to ruthlessly trim Ange Postecoglou’s squad ahead of the new season.
Joe Rodon looks set to become the latest player to head out the door after five have already been released on free transfers.
The Welshman is nearing a switch to Leeds United as part of a deal which will see Archie Gray move to Tottenham.
A host of players could follow Rodon out the door, including fellow returning loanees Djed Spence and Sergio Reguilon, with both full-backs unlikely to have a future under Ange Postecoglou.
And Spurs will be hoping to make progress on another possible sale this week as Gianluca Di Marzio claims they are set for further talks over Emerson Royal’s departure.

Tottenham and AC Milan set for Emerson Royal talks
It’s no secret that Royal looks likely to head out the door this summer, despite playing an important role in Postecoglou’s debut campaign.
The Brazilian racked up 24 appearances in all competitions and played across the backline as he filled in for Spurs’ key defensive stars on occasion, with Postecoglou labelling his contributions as ‘outstanding‘.
Yet, Royal could head to AC Milan this summer, with the Serie A giants confident over striking a deal with Tottenham.
Gianluca Di Marzio has provided the latest on Royal’s future and reports that Tottenham are set for further talks with Milan on Wednesday or Thursday this week.

What Royal has said about Tottenham future amid Milan interest
Royal has certainly made no secret about his pride at reported interest from Milan.
The full-back admitted just last month that the Serie A giants have asked Spurs about signing him this summer.
“Yes, I know Milan asked Spurs about me. I’m proud of that, Milan is an important club,” he said.
“Let’s see what happens with Milan, I’m just happy to know that they are showing interest in me.”
This feels like a move that would benefit all parties involved, particularly with Gray set to sign for Spurs this week.
The Leeds youngster is able to operate at right-back and his imminent arrival could pave the way for Royal to secure a move to Italy.
