Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Semih Kilicsoy in recent weeks and speculation continues to do the rounds ahead of the summer transfer window.
For instance, Fanatik reported in January that Spurs had set their sights on the Besiktas gem, who is one of the best youngsters in the Turkish top flight.
Now, A Spor has suggested that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham are slowly intensifying their pursuit of Kilicsoy.
The Turkish outlet claims that Spurs are one of several clubs that have begun sending scouts to watch the £22million-rated 18-year-old live in action.
As well as Tottenham, the likes of Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt are apparently sending representatives to watch Kilicsoy closely.

Spurs have done very well in two consecutive transfer windows under Postecoglou, bringing in a host of top talents and also letting others move on.
In addition, Tottenham have also beaten Bayern Munich and Barcelona to the respective signings of Radu Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall.
With that in mind, Spurs will certainly fancy their chances of signing Kilicsoy ahead of the likes of Villa, Dortmund, Atletico and Frankfurt.
Although Tottenham recently brought in a new forward in Timo Werner, there’s certainly scope for more reinforcements.
This would especially be the case when you’re talking about yet another exciting talent who could well hope to follow in Arda Guler’s footsteps.
Kilicsoy has dazzled for his club this season, registering eight goals and an assist from 19 games. This includes seven goals and an assist from his last seven.
In January, Besiktas academy director Mehmet Eksi told Hurriyet: “As infrastructure teachers, we compare Semih to [Germany legend] Gerd Muller.
“Some compared him to [Sergio] Aguero. He also sees Aguero as his idol.”
Eksi also said Kilicsoy controls the ball “very well, and uses his body very well by getting between the ball and the opponent. Very fast over short distances.
“He plays in three areas – right winger, left winger and centre-forward. He also plays behind the striker very well.”
