Sessegnon and Lo Celso announcements expected
Tottenham Hotspur are set to complete two signings on transfer deadline day.
The transfer deadline has now passed, but the club are expected to shortly announcd the signings of Ryan Sessegnon (signed for £25 million – Goal) and Giovani Lo Celso, two players who had long been linked with a move to Spurs.

Full-back Sessegnon will fight it out with Danny Rose and Ben Davies for a regular starting spot – although he can also play as a winger and could be back up for Heung-min Son.
Attacking midfielder Lo Celso looks set to compete with Dele Alli.
Dybala failure
There was a twinge of sadness among some Spurs fans despite the signings of Sessegnon and Lo Celso, with Paulo Dybala’s proposed move to the club failing to materialise.

The club had apparently agreed a £64 million fee with Juventus, only for the Italian champions to make a U-turn over the player on deadline day (Sky Sports).
It is being reported that a deal was simply too complicated to negotiate given the lack of time left in the window from the first point of contact.
Carter-Vickers departs
Young defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has left the club to join Stoke City on loan (@SpursOfficial).

The USA international has joined up with Nathan Jones’ Potters, having been linked with a move to Leeds United.
It is Carter-Vickers’ fourth loan move, having had stints at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City last term.
