According to sources close to American outlet ESPN this weekend, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is plotting a surprise swoop for Paris Saint-German right-back Serge Aurier.

It is thought that the 24-year-old Ivorian has told the French giants of his desire to leave, with the recent arrival of Dani Alves from Juventus pushing Aurier further down the pecking order in Paris.

And the unnamed source has claimed that PSG boss Unai Emery is willing to agree to sell him this summer – with Spurs, Manchester United and Inter Milan interested – for a fee in the region of €20 million (£18 million) to €25m (£22.5 million).

After allowing regular right-back Kyle Walker to leave for Manchester City just last week in a £50 million move, Tottenham have the funds required to meet PSG’s price tag on the Ivorian’s head.

Meanwhile, reports in The Sun have claimed that Premier League rivals West Brom have joined the race to secure the signing of Tottenham’s French flop Moussa Sissoko.

After a woeful first season at White Hart Lane – arriving from Newcastle on a £30 million deal last summer – it is understood that Pochettino would be willing to offload Sissoko for around £20 million.

And Tony Pulis has shown interest in taking the 27-year-old to the Hawthorns this summer as he looks to revive his career, with the Baggies keen to improve their attacking options for next season.

Despite being the Argentine’s most expensive signing since arriving in north London, the French international only managed eight Premier League starts last season, failing to score all campaign.

Lastly, the Mirror have reported on Sunday afternoon that Tottenham will have to battle with Borussia Dortmund and fierce rivals Arsenal to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho this summer.

The 17-year-old Manchester City and England player has alerted the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs since being omitted from Pep Guardiola’s pre-season tour squad, with Spurs set to pounce.

But the latest reports have claimed that Germain giants Dortmund are the newest side to enter the race to sign the highly-rated winger, who is yet to sign a new contract despite being offered a three-year contract worth £30,000 per week. It is thought that he doesn’t see a clear route into the first-team.

Sancho, who has starred for City’s youth sides and England’s Under-17 side, won the Golden Player award at the recent Under-17 European Championships to emulate Everton’s Wayne Rooney.
