The Telegraph have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is willing to leave Spurs on loan in the January transfer window after a lack of game time under Jose Mourinho – and Everton have got to take advantage.
Foyth, 21, has managed just 20 minutes of Premier League football this season, with Mourinho seemingly preferring the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez in the heart of his defence.
The Argentina international is keen to further his development and is willing to leave the north London club on loan in the January transfer window. If he is to have any chance of breaking into Mourinho’s side, remaining in England is key.
Everton are in desperate need of a centre-back. Michael Keane has been questionable while Yerry Mina is yet to show why The Toffees paid almost £30million to sign the Colombia international. In the summer, Phil Jagielka rejoined Sheffield United.

Kurt Zouma returned to Chelsea after his loan, leaving Everton with little option at centre-back. Mason Holgate has emerged into the side, but the versatile defender is hardly the long-term answer Everton need.
So, incoming manager Carlo Ancelotti has got to ask Jose Mourinho for a favour and bring in the former Estudiantes defender in on loan in January until the end of the season – though a permanent clause is unlikely if a loan move was orchestrated.
Bringing in £8million Spurs signing (Mail) Foyth as Ancelotti’s first signing would be an excellent move for Everton, instantly solving a hole and contributing to Everton’s ball-playing style that the experienced Italian manager is likely to adopt.
