Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in handing Ismaila Sarr the chance to stay in the Premier League next season, according to a report from the Sunday Mirror (9/8; page 65).
Sarr was one of Watford’s standout players this past season. He scored five goals and contributed four assists for the Hornets.

Unfortunately, his side were unable to avoid relegation. And that has seemingly left Watford facing a battle to keep the attacker this summer.
The Sunday Mirror (9/8; page 65) reports that Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United are all tracking the 22-year-old, who arrived for a club-record fee last summer (via BBC Sport).

TBR View: Sarr looks an incredibly exciting target for Tottenham
It remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho’s side confirm their reported interest with a bid for the youngster.
But they should certainly not be put off by Watford’s relegation. In fact, it could perhaps be a fantastic opportunity to land an incredibly exciting prospect for a better fee.
He is not the first Watford player Spurs have been linked with this summer. The Daily Mail recently claimed that Tottenham have been offered Troy Deeney on loan, with Mourinho interested in the 32-year-old.
Deeney has been one of those to laud Sarr this past season. Following the club’s stunning win over Liverpool in March, the captain was full of praise for his teammate’s display.
“He was good today. You can’t replicate that pace and power, he cost £40million for a reason,” he said, as reported by the Watford Observer.
“He’s a really good player, he’s got a lot to learn, he’s still got room to grow, but this is what Watford do. We buy players that have potential, we did it with Richarlison and people of that ilk, so hopefully he continues to learn, continues to get better. It’s his first season in English football and he’s took to it like a duck to water.”
Given the sides also interested in Sarr, it would certainly be a big statement if Spurs could land the starlet this summer.
