Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in raiding Inter Milan for Bayern Munich loanee Ivan Perisic this summer – and Robert Lewandowski has previously claimed that the Croatian winger has it all.
Perisic, 31, is caught in somewhat of a transfer limbo as he remains on loan at Bayern – where he has scored five goals and created eight more in 27 games. Bayern do not want to pay the permanent clause they previously agreed.
German outlet Fussball Transfers have claimed that Bayern included an £18million clause in Perisic’s loan. But in the current climate, Bayern do not want to pay that figure and Inter are understanding in that.
Bayern only want to pay £9million, while Inter want £13.5million and Tottenham are claimed as potentially stealing in to land the 2018 World Cup finalist. Lewandowski heaped enormous praise on Perisic this season.
“Ivan can be quite a bit surprise for us,” Lewandowski told the Bundesliga’s site. “He’s good with his left, right, good in the air, strong, and dribbles well. Ivan can help us immediately or put pressure on other players in the squad.”

TBR’s view – Perisic is a bargain at £13.5m, as Lamela replacement
Erik Lamela is expected to be sold by Tottenham this summer with the Daily Star claiming that Jose Mourinho has been told to sell the Argentina international to bring in some funds for new signings.
Lamela is likely to be worth more than £20million given Spurs paid £30million for his signature in 2013 and that he is still well below 30. Perisic, then, would not only signal a saving – but also an improvement.
