Tottenham have no plans to move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, despite his agent Pini Zahavi being willing to move his client to north London, according to the Evening Standard.
Zahavi has been key in bringing Tanguy Ndombele and Jose Mourinho to Spurs within just a few months but a third deal with the same agent is apparently not on the cards.
Zaha is reportedly valued at £80 million – which would eclipse the club-record fee they paid for Ndombele in the summer and Spurs don’t plan to spend that kind of money this month.
Zahavi clearly has a good working relationship with Tottenham and Daniel Levy, but it appears that trying to broker a club-record deal mid-season is, unsurprisingly, a non-starter.

TBR’s View – Zaha link was just agent talk and Spurs’ reluctance is no surprise
Tottenham have more pressing concerns – namely central midfield and centre forward – this month and Levy is unlikely to sanction spending in those areas without outgoings first.
Zahavi was trying to work with a club he has already done two high-profile deals with already in recent months, but he must have known Levy was never likely to sanction such a big move in January.
Arsenal and Everton were interested during the summer, but went for Nicolas Pepe and Alex Iwobi instead, so it remains to be seen where Zaha goes from here.
