Tottenham Hotspur have certainly had a right-back issue so far this season. Kieran Trippier was sold over the summer and it appears the club also wanted Serge Aurier gone.

Initially, it seemed they were ready to finally trust Kyle Walker-Peters but that quickly eroded and the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Moussa Sissoko have since played the role with mixed reaction.

But it seems a youngster at Tottenham could be the future of the role, according to The Sun. They have run a feature on talented local boy Dermi Lusala.

The 16-year-old is a versatile defender who predominantly plays at right-back. The report claims there is ‘a genuine feeling’ at the club that Lusala can become a first-team regular.

Of course, at just 16, that is likely to be some way down the line but it does appear he is turning heads at the club.

He was also included in The Guardian’s Next Generation list for 2019 earlier this month and the former Brentford youngster is clearly one for Tottenham fans to look out for.

With the likes of Lusala, Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga, it appears Tottenham do still have some top talent coming through the ranks at Hotspur Way.
