Tottenham need to be looking to improve defensively ahead of next season, but if the right options come along to get better further up the pitch then they should be open to suggestions.
According to Calciomercato, Spurs have RB Leipzig star Marcel Sabitzer on their radar and North London rivals Arsenal are also keen on him.
The report details that he could be worth around £40million following his eye-catching season so far with German top-flight outfit Leipzig.
Spurs have seen first-hand the 25-year-old’s talents, as he scored twice in midweek against them in the Champions League last 16 and his goals helped knocked them out of the European competition.
Sabitzer is a versatile star that has played a number of positions this campaign and that’s why his potential £40million price tag should see Spurs manager Jose Mourinho consider him to be a priority in the summer.

Sabitzer starred as a central midfielder in the 3-0 win against Spurs, as he netted a low effort from the edge of the box and powered in a second through a header.
The Austria international is capable of playing in deep or offensive midfield roles, but is mainly recognised as a right-winger and has the ability to torment defences.
He’s scored 15 goals and supplied eight assists in 35 games across all competitions, plus he appears to be getting better and better as he approaches his peak years.
The playmaker has stood out as a supreme talent in the Champions League so far this year and is a high calibre star that for £40million could be a real steal for Spurs, so they should look at ramping up interest.
There doesn’t need to be too much creativity from the centre of the park aside from Argentine Giovani Lo Celso in the Spurs midfield and it’s an area that Sabitzer could help.
