Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with FC Copenhagen talent Roony Bardghji in recent weeks.
Spurs are one of several top European clubs eyeing the 18-year-old winger, Danish outlet BT claimed in December.
Now, Sky Sports News have provided an update on the state of play involving Bardghji’s future.
While it doesn’t mention Tottenham, the report does say that three Premier League clubs have made initial enquiries over signing the player.
Bardghji has entered the final two years of his contract, but according to the report, he won’t put pen to paper on a new deal at Copenhagen.

As a result, the Danish giants know that they will have to sell Bardghji sooner rather than later to receive a good transfer fee.
In terms of valuation, Copenhagen reportedly want €25million – around £21.5million – to part company with the Sweden Under-21 star.
Tottenham Hotspur target Roony Bardghji looks like a star in the making
Tottenham could do with bolstering their ranks on the left side of attack in the January transfer window.
Both Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are out injured. Indeed, the latter probably won’t play for the club again, according to Ange Postecoglou.
If Spurs are specifically after someone who can hit the ground running in the first-team, then Bardghji may not fit the bill just yet.
He’s still quite raw and would need some time to get up to speed in the Premier League.
That said, Bardghji is definitely a very exciting young talent with a lot of potential, so if Tottenham are looking for someone they can develop into a future star, he’s a good shout.
Despite being just 18 years of age, Bardghji has shown that he’s a cut above in the Danish top flight.
He has 11 goals from 30 outings in all competitions this term, and 15 goals and one assist from 71 appearances for his club.
Football Talent Scout‘s Jacek Kulig published a scouting report on Bardghji in 2021 which declared him to have 10 out of 10 ‘world-class’ potential.
Kulig also likened the left-footer to Lionel Messi and deemed him “extremely dangerous on the counter thanks to his electric pace and acceleration”.
