Tottenham Hotspur will seek to make it three Premier League wins in a row when they head to Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Spurs managed to provide their fans with some cheer last weekend after being knocked out of both domestic cups as they beat Manchester United at home.

Tottenham’s next opponents currently sit in the Premier League’s bottom three, but they did beat Spurs 2-1 in North London in the reverse fixture.

TBR Football looks at who Ange Postecoglou could name in the Spurs starting XI for the 3pm kick-off at Portman Road.

Tottenham team news v Ipswich

Tottenham’s injury crisis is showing signs of easing, with Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison returning to the starting line-up against Man United last weekend.

Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert and Destiny Udogie made the bench, while Rodrigo Bentancur, Kevin Danso and Son Heung-min are available despite being forced off last week.

As for Ipswich, Axel Tuanzebe is unavailable due to suspension following his red card against Aston Villa last Saturday.

Leif Davis, Sam Morsy and Sammie Szmodics have been passed fit and Conor Chaplin will be assessed.

However, Julio Enciso has joined Wes Burns, Chiedozie Ogbene and Christian Walton on the sidelines.

Tottenham predicted XI v Ipswich

Postecoglou will likely have an eye on the Manchester City game next Wednesday when it comes to his team sheet against Ipswich.

With that in mind, there could be some changes in the team to manage the players’ minutes in wake of a tiring campaign.

Destiny Udogie, who was an unused sub against the Red Devils, is pushing to return to the side.

Postecoglou could potentially name him at left-back, while Djed Spence could be moved to right-back to give Pedro Porro a rest.

The midfield three is likely to remain the same, which means Rodrigo Bentancur in the middle and Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison either side of him.

Mathys Tel is likely to continue leading the line, but there could be changes either side of him.

We predict Brennan Johnson will get the nod on the right and Wilson Odobert could start on the left.

This would enable Postecoglou to rest Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski for the Man City game.

The Tottenham captain and the £40million ace were decent enough last time out, but a bit more rest time will help massively against the Citizens.

Predicted Tottenham starting XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Spence, Danso, Davies, Udogie; Bentancur, Bergvall, Maddison; Johnson, Son, Odobert
