Tottenham Player Ratings: How did Spurs rate as they eased to victory over Arsenal?

Add as preferred source on Google

In the last North London Derby at White Hart Lane, for much of the first half it looked as though things may not go Tottenham’s way. Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen both missed superb chances to give their side the lead and it looked as though Arsenal could provide sterner competition than some had expected.

In the second half it was a different story though, as the duo combined with some wonderful link-up play to open the scoring as Alli set up Eriksen and then pounced on the rebound when the Dane’s shot was saved by Petr Cech.

Moments later, Gabriel felled Harry Kane in the penalty area to allow the striker to double the home side’s lead with a coolly taken penalty straight into the bottom corner which completed a comfortable afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino and co. as they then saw the game out with ease.
