Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign a new name before January ends, with Mohamed-Ali Cho the latest name to be thrown their way as the window nears it’s finale.

That’s according to Sky Sports anyway, who are reporting live on air today that young French striker Cho has been offered to Tottenham for around £20m. Currently at Angers, the 18-year-old is seen as yet another prospect emerging from France in what seems a never ending conveyor belt.
Cho, who has scored just twice this season, is said to have been put forward by Angers over a potential switch to Spurs ahead of the window closing. Sky report that Angers value him at around the £20m mark.
Spurs are desperately seeking new faces this week as Antonio Conte looks for help from the board to aid his side’s Champions League push.
Adama Traore is expected to arrive, while a number of players could also move out. Dele Alli, Gio Lo Celso, and Tanguy Ndombele among those being tipped to leave.
Cho, who has five caps for the French under-21 side, would bring in competition in the attacking third alongside Harry Kane.
TBR’s View: Cho A Talent But Not What Tottenham Need Right Now
This has a feel to it like Angers want to cash in, rather than Tottenham looking at Cho as a potential game-changing signing this month.
Of course, he is a top talent. A France under-21 star with an eye for goal and rapid speed. There is a lot to like about the teenager and £20m might be a snip in the modern market.
However, Conte needs players to make an impact now and signing an 18-year-old might not do that. So while Cho is one for the future, it might not be what the Tottenham manager was hoping for this month.
