Tottenham Hotspur are now one of a number of teams interested in signing St. Patrick’s Athletic full-back Sam Curtis.

That’s according to TEAMtalk who shared that both Manchester United and Manchester City have already made contact regarding the 17-year-old.

And whilst Tottenham aren’t reported to have made their move just yet, they are credited with interest in Sam Curtis who’s still currently playing in Ireland.

The full-back has been attracting a lot of attention in the last year or so, and has already made 61 senior appearances despite his age.

It does now only seem a matter of time before Curtis makes a move to a bigger club, a player hailed as ‘unbelievable’ by his teammates.

Curtis has recently shared that he models his game on Chelsea’s Reece James whilst being interviewed in Ireland.

However, the full-back did want to be known for his own style as he started his fledgling career.

Perhaps the progress of Evan Ferguson at Brighton Hove Albion has now caused Premier League sides to take greater interest in the Irish top flight.

And according to this report, it seems likely that Sam Curtis could end up in England very soon, with Tottenham and outside possibility.

Of course, Spurs do now have adding pulling power to their academy with Ange Postecoglou in charge.

Youngsters joining Tottenham’s youth squads will know that they have a genuine chance of progressing through the club given Ange’s attention to young players.

Moreover, Spurs’ under-21s side are also flying in the Premier League 2 right now, another good reason to choose the side.

So whilst Sam Curtis clearly does now have some lofty links, a move to Tottenham could be very tempting should that interest progress.

Although, Spurs fans will probably be more focused on senior defensive additions in the coming window.

Eric Dier was criticised for his performance in the defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday.

And Postecoglou will continue to miss some key names for the months to come.
