After all the success Tottenham Hotspur have already enjoyed in the transfer market this season, it seems they are already interested in a summer move.

Despite what Postecoglou has achieved this season, completely changing Spurs’ footballing philosophy, he’s still only in the early days of his rebuild.

And when you consider that the Australian has already negated the departure of Harry Kane too, he’s doing a remarkable job.

Looking to summer, it seems as if Tottenham will continue to strengthen their squad in a similar fashion to January.

First team ready players will arrive, akin to Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner, and we’ll also see some high potential youngsters arrive at Hotspur Way, much like Lucas Bergvall.

This should be a plan that suits Postecoglou perfectly, who is known to be excellent at developing young talent.

And with that in mind, Spanish outlet Sport have now reported Tottenham’s interest in a summer move for Real Madrid’s Arda Guler

Guler’s future in Spain looks increasingly unclear, and Spurs are now said to be very alert to the situation.

18-year-old Guler arrived at Real Madrid in the summer, having been labelled Europe’s next big ‘superstar’.

The attacking midfielder boasted a huge reputation at Fenerbache, and seemed primed for a move to one of Europe’s elite.

However, according to this report, Guler’s unfortunate injury he suffered at the club soon after joining has complicated matters.

Now fit, there doesn’t seem to be an obvious path for the Turkey international to progress with Madrid.

Hence it’s no surprise to see Tottenham reportedly interested in a summer move – Postecoglou could be the perfect manager to harness that potential.

Although, the information also states that Bayer Leverkusen would be tempted by a move too, with a loan move likely to be the only departure Madrid will agree to right now.

Either way, it could be a strong opportunity for Spurs to attract an extremely exciting player to North London.

That being said, one of Spurs’ loanees is continuing to enjoy an excellent season.
