With Fulham heading to the Championship, they will struggle to hold onto several of their players, including Ryan Sessegnon.

And it is no surprise to see clubs lining up big-money summer moves for Sessegnon despite an indifferent debut campaign in the Premier League.

According to The Express, Juventus have now joined Tottenham Hotspur in the £40m chase for the 18-year-old.

Sessegnon operates anywhere down the left flank and is seen as one of the best young prospects in the country.

And this is why Spurs must step up their interest to fend off competition from the Italian giants and win the race for Sessegnon.

The England under-21 starlet has bagged two goals and provided six assists this season but he could not prevent the Cottagers from going down.

But Tottenham should try to poach him for a cheaper price, given his precarious contract situation at Craven Cottage.

The talented teenager is the perfect long-term solution for Spurs, acting as a successor for Danny Rose or as a winger to increase competition in attacking midfield.

However, Juventus will also be a tempting option for Sessegnon. Many young Englishman are looking to move abroad nowadays after the success of Jadon Sancho.

But Tottenham must ensure they win the race for Sessegnon, who could be a snip at £40m if he fulfils his potential.
