Tottenham Hotspur have become the first club not to make a signing in two consecutive transfer windows in Premier League history.
The Lilywhites were linked with many a name in the lead up to and during the January transfer window.
But as the 11pm deadline passed, it was a familiar story for fans with not a single fresh face pitching up.

Tottenham must now make do with the crop of players they started the season with and hope that they’ll have enough to at least secure a place in the top four.
One player who was routinely linked with a move to the north Londoners was Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Adrien Rabiot. The Daily Mail recently reported were considering a £20 million deal.
Spurs must return for him in the summer
Rabiot is out of contract this summer, which has obviously led to plenty of speculation he will leave the Parc des Princes.
Rabiot is a talented central midfield player who is blessed with excellent technical attributes and vision.
A player of his quality on a potential free transfer is surely a no-brainer for Tottenham, who will need a replacement for Mousa Dembele.

There can be no excuses regarding price because as things currently stand he will become a free agent.
He would be a fantastic signing for Spurs, who play in a similar way to free-flowing PSG.
