French giants PSG could be willing to let Thomas Meunier leave the club this summer, with The Mirror reporting that the Parisians want £26 million for the player.
Manchester United are firm admirers of the defender but other clubs will probably declare their interest in the coming months.
One of those clubs should be Tottenham Hotspur. A report in the Evening Standard had previously claimed that twelve players could depart Spurs this summer – including both right-backs.

If Keiran Trippier and Serge Aurier both leave, Mauricio Pochettino will almost certainly look to sign a right-sided defender.
Meunier has struggled with a series of niggles this season and as a result, he has struggled to hold down a place in Thomas Tuchel’s team.
Trippier has failed to scale the heights of last summer’s World Cup when he was a key component of Gareth Southgate’s England team. Since arriving in 2017, Aurier has played just 41 games for Spurs.

Meunier is an experienced campaigner and would represent an upgrade on the club’s current options. He is strong in the tackle, gets forward well and is versatile.
If Spurs are serious about challenging for the Premier League title then Pochettino must target players with a good pedigree in world football. Meunier for a paltry £26 million would represent a solid start to the transfer window for Tottenham.
