Tottenham may have just received a boost in their chase for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The English right-back has been named as a top target for Manchester United ahead of the summer and quoted at a £40million price (Daily Mail).
Meanwhile, the Sun has previously reported that Spurs are ready to offload Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier in their own pursuit of the Palace full-back.
But the latest twist suggests that Manchester United will turn their attention elsewhere, which in theory will leave the door open for Spurs to try secure a deal for the 21-year-old.
According to the Sun, Manchester United may drop their interest in Wan-Bissaka due to the rise of their player Diogo Dalot and turn their attention to the more experienced Thomas Meunier at Paris Saint-Germain.

Wan-Bissaka has been one of the best right-backs in the Premier League this campaign and it would be no surprise to see him playing for a top-six club in the near future.
He is an all-action right-back that is excellent defending in one-on-one scenarios and loves to put a foot in.
The Palace speed machine is strong going forward too and has all the tools that would make him a great addition for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Spurs should try an official approach for Wan-Bissaka following Manchester United’s exit from the race and try get a possible deal for the summer.
