Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero certainly enjoyed his side’s late equaliser against Chelsea today as he was spotted screaming in Reece James’ face right after the goal on Sky Sports

Spurs ended up drawing 2-2 against their bitter London rivals after a late equaliser from Harry Kane.

The game was a fiery affair at Stamford Bridge today as there were several controversial moments.

One moment involved Romero as the Argentine defender appeared to pull Marc Cucurella’s hair just moments before Spurs equalised.

And despite possibly being slightly lucky to remain on the pitch, the 24-year-old certainly had no issue with celebrating his team’s late goal.

Romero screams in James’ face

During the celebrations on Sky Sports, Romero can be spotted screaming in James’ face after Kane’s headed goal.

The Spurs defender runs straight up to the Chelsea man and celebrates right in front of him.

James had previously put the Blues ahead and had appeared to have won the game for his team, but Spurs found a late goal from a corner.

Spurs fans will love to see Romero celebrating so passionately, especially against their bitter London rivals. Yves Bissouma was also spotted celebrating in front of the Tottenham faithful at the end of the game.

It was a heated battle in West London today as bosses Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were both sent off right at the end of the game.

The pair had clashed earlier in the half when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg cancelled out Kalidou Koulibaly’s opener but tempers then boiled over again after the full-time whistle.

The game had shades of Spurs and Chelsea’s heated clash in 2016 that is known to fans as the ‘Battle of the Bridge’.

Conte will undoubtedly be happy to come away from the game with a point after his side were second best for most of the game.

It’s a promising sign for the Italian that his Spurs team showed resolve and battled until the last moments of the game.
