Tottenham-linked winger Robert Skov reaches exceptional goalscoring figure

Highly-rated young winger Robert Skov scored for FC Copenhagen yet again and enhanced his chances of a big summer move.

With a stunning tally of 25 goals in 33 league and Europa League games, it is clear that Skov is too good for the Danish Superliga and a summer transfer awaits.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Skov in the recent past with Sky Sports News reporting their interest last month.

Spurs have sent scouts to watch Skov in action and they would have been impressed by his performance at the weekend for Copenhagen.

The 22-year-old scored an equaliser against Brondby on their way to a 2-1 away victory. This was Skov’s 25th league and Europa League strike with seven assists to his name too.

Skov is clearly a talent and this could be worth the risk for Spurs. Although his contract runs until 2022, Tottenham have the financial clout to lure him to the Premier League.

Given his lack of experience outside of Denmark, Skov represents a gamble for Tottenham to some extent. But with a stunning goalscoring record from the wing, the Denmark under-21 starlet appears to be ready to step up.

If Tottenham had scouts watching Skov again at the weekend, he could be one step closer to a major summer transfer.
