It’s been a while since the name of Noni Madueke has done the rounds in terms of transfer rumours, with both Tottenham and Leeds said to be among those keen.
Reports at the back end of the summer transfer window last year had suggested that the likes of Spurs, Arsenal, and Leeds were all keen on Madueke. But since then, and with no move happening, things have gone quiet on the transfer front.

However, over in Holland, Madueke has gone about his business nicely for PSV again. He’s notched nine goals and five assists this season, and that’s with missing a chunk of the season through injury. But now, back in form and playing well for PSV, Madueke is back among the England under-21 set up.
And judging by the latest training video released from the camp, Madueke is keen to make an impression.
In the clip released on England’s official YouTube channel, Madueke is spotted trying to pull off what a teammate labels as an ‘outrageous’ piece of skill during shooting drills. Unfortunately for Madueke, it doesn’t quite happen, as his attempt hits the side netting. But still, it shows the confidence of the young winger.
TBR’s View: Madueke To End Up Back In England
Tottenham must be annoyed at themselves when it comes to Noni Madueke. He’s now one of the hottest properties in Europe and Spurs had him all along.
Nevertheless, you can see why they want him back now, even if it costs a decent chunk of change. Madueke has even been compared to Kylian Mbappe before, such is his talent.
Spurs fans – and Leeds, of course – might be interested in how Madueke does this weekend, then. The Young Lions take on Andorra tonight, before facing Albania next week.
