Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks with a busy summer of spending expected.
After two consecutive transfer windows with no new arrivals, Tottenham fans will be hoping for some fresh faces to take the team forward.
And Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is a potential new addition for Spurs, as per The Daily Mail.
The skilful midfielder is currently on loan at Real Betis and he produced a headline-grabbing performance at the weekend.
Lo Celso scored twice to guide Real Betis to a 2-1 win over relegation-threatened Villarreal. And this kept Betis’ top six hopes alive.
The 22-year-old is enjoying a productive season in La Liga with 14 goals and three assists to his name now.
Betis have the option to sign Lo Celso on a permanent deal for £21.5m (The Daily Mail) but Tottenham could provide competition.
And at that price, this could prove to be a shrewd piece of business by Spurs. Lo Celso is young and already proving himself in Europe’s top leagues.
The 10-cap Argentina international impressed last weekend and this could have caught the attention of Tottenham scouts.
As a short-term and long-term option, Lo Celso is worth a punt for the North London side.
