Tottenham Hotspur were among the clubs who sent scouts to watch Benfica starlet Jota in action last week, according to The Telegraph.
Mauricio Pochettino is still hunting for another striker to compete with Harry Kane and Jota fits the bill perfectly.
The 19-year-old could provide Kane with a talented understudy for a while, before competing for the starting spot as he progresses.
According to this report by The Telegraph, Jota will cost €30m – which is just more than £25m – and this could be a snip if he fulfils his potential.

It has been an impressive breakthrough season for Jota, who has stepped up from Benfica B recently to feature for the Portuguese side’s first-team.
Spurs are not alone in their admiration for the young striker, who can also operate on the wings. North London rivals Arsenal are interested, as well as Liverpool and a host of clubs across Europe.
But Tottenham could sell Jota their project, the chance to work under Pochettino and their track record of developing talented youngsters.
As Tottenham continue to seek a new striker, Jota could be the man to provide them with a long-term solution in attack. Alongside Kane, Spurs could have two top class strikers for years to come.
